President Obama's Housing Stability Plan coupled with the Economic Stimulus bill offer relief to the housing market. 1st time homeowners or buyers who have not owned a home in the past three years qualify for an $8,000 TAX CREDIT if the purchase a home before December 9, 2009. The housing stability proposals are desigend to stave off foreclosures by STRONGLY encouraging mortage "re-works". This in addition to loosing credit markets for qualified buyers is leading to a surge in demand for homes priced under $400,000 in Boulder County.
